Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max: Price in Kenya, Specs & AI Overview

The Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max (Model D1204 / D1204Z11) is Anker’s flagship true wireless earbud and portable AI productivity recorder. Priced at KSh 34,000 in Kenya (MSRP $229.99 USD) at anker soundcore kenya, it integrates an on-device THUS™ Compute-In-Memory (CIM) AI chip with a 1.78-inch full-color AMOLED smart touchscreen case.

Positioned for executives, remote workers, students, and content creators across Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu, the Liberty 5 Pro Max bridges high-fidelity wireless listening with offline voice commands and standalone meeting transcription.

Key Specifications & Price

Core Technologies: What Makes It Stand Out

1. Hardware-Level Compute-In-Memory (THUS™ AI Chip)

Traditional earbud processors drain battery shuttling large neural-net data matrices between memory and CPU registers. The Anker THUS™ AI chip uses a Compute-In-Memory (CIM) architecture within NOR Flash cells, running matrix calculations directly inside the memory array. This eliminates roughly 90% of data-transit energy waste, providing up to 150× effective AI compute-per-watt efficiency to run heavy neural networks locally on micro-battery power.

2. Adaptive ANC 4.0 & Matatu-Grade Voice Isolation

• Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation 4.0: Analyzes over 384,000 noise signals per second, delivering up to 100% deeper cancellation over the Liberty 4 Pro. It continuously shifts acoustic curves to eliminate low-frequency diesel engine rumbles, street traffic, and café chatter.

• Deep Neural Call Isolation (10-Sensor Fusion): Fuses 8 MEMS microphones with 2 bone-conduction Voice Pickup Units (VPUs). Because the VPUs detect skull vibrations that only occur when your vocal cords engage, the THUS™ chip uses the vibration signal as a structural mask, stripping out air-pressure ambient noise up to 110 dB (ideal for noisy Nairobi CBD streets or open-office environments).

3. 1.78-Inch AMOLED Smart Hub & AI Note-Taker

• Full-Lid AMOLED Touchscreen: Control ANC levels, switch sound effects, cycle EQ profiles, check precise battery percentages, and manage Bluetooth source devices directly from the case without unlocking your phone.

• Standalone Meeting Recorder: Record face-to-face meetings, lectures, or interviews directly through the case microphones. Tapping the physical bookmark button timestamps key moments. Synced with the Soundcore app, it outputs speaker diarization, automated summaries, and exported action items (includes 120 free transcription minutes monthly).

• Zero-Latency Offline Voice Commands: 20 built-in voice commands run completely locally on-chip, executing actions ("Next track", "Volume up", "Answer call") in under one second without cellular data or internet access.

4. Studio Sound Engineering

• Bio-Cellulose Diaphragm: Powered by a 9.2 mm wool-paper composite dynamic driver that balances warm, impactful low-end punch with low harmonic distortion in the treble.

• LDAC & HearID 5.0: Streams high-resolution audio up to 990 kbps (24-bit/96kHz). Combined with on-device AI Audio Enhancement, it restores high-frequency compression artifacts, achieving a 65% reduction in perceived Bluetooth audio degradation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why is the Liberty 5 Pro Max KSh 34,000 compared to the standard Liberty 5 Pro?

The standard Liberty 5 Pro (retailing around KSh 25,000 – KSh 26,500) features a basic 0.96-inch TFT notification strip. The Liberty 5 Pro Max at KSh 34,000 includes the larger 1.78-inch full AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, the AI Note-Taker hardware suite, independent case-recording microphones, and 120 free monthly transcription minutes.

Can the AI Note-Taker transcribe meetings without an internet connection?

The case records high-definition audio to local flash storage completely offline. Once your phone connects to Wi-Fi or mobile data, the Soundcore app securely processes the audio via cloud LLMs to generate diarized transcripts, highlights, and bulleted summaries.

Does the Liberty 5 Pro Max support triple device connection?

Yes. Bluetooth 6.1 multipoint allows you to keep the earbuds simultaneously paired with three devices (e.g., your laptop, tablet, and smartphone) with automated audio switching.

Are the earbuds durable enough for running and dusty conditions in Kenya?

Yes. With an IP55 rating, the earbuds are dust-resistant and fully shielded against rain and heavy sweat.
